"Welcome to the newest publication about Old Dominion University Athletics. The Monarch Premier will be produced this semester by students in COMM 495, Advanced Sport Communication.

Students will assign, write, edit and post stories about ODU Athletics on this site, giving Monarch fans a fix of the fall sports they enjoy. Particular attention will be paid to ODU athletes in sports that do not typically get as much attention.
